So, I have been snapping pics most of my life. My first camera was a Kodak 110. Recently went through my printed pics and was like, "What is with these square ones?".
Bad exposure, angles, out of focus. But hey, that was many moons ago. Now I have a nice camera that I can take bad pics with. Sony A-100, if you're interested. I like it.
I carry my second hand P&S with me everywhere. Never know when I will want to take a pic. There are days when just about everything I look at seems to be something I want to take a picture of.
A busy intersection, road sign, my cats, random bits of things that I come across. Sometimes, I even take pics of people and landscapes.
I was just out visiting the Hand Made in Detroit show
handmadedetroit.com/. &nb… took pics of some vendors that I liked. I need to post these in the near future. I will post about that visit later.
After that, we took a drive to a Mexican place Xochimilco's. It's pronounced SO-SHE-MOCOs. I swear it's Mexican food. It's in Mexican Town near the Detroit/Windsor border. Nice place, good food. Only one complaint. The light is low. Not pitch black, not well lit, so the eyes take a moment or two or three to get used to it. When you leave, people point and laugh that you are a Michigan Mole. Not really, but that's how it felt. I got some pics of the outside and some interesting sights in and around Mexican town.
We drove/walked around downtown taking some pics. The soon to be demolished train station, old Tiger stadium (whats left of it, anyway), and some other random bits and bobs.
All and all, a good day.
